We play at all sorts of events and, blessed by friends and congregants who have captured our performances as they happened. Whilst mobile phones can capture good quality video, the sound quality depends upon many factors!
Luana Arabella Hall
Luana Hall was a musical director who founded an inner-city gospel choir. Later, she worked as an evangelist for 13 years for the Inner City Mission.
Born in South Africa, Luana is a singer-songwriter performing in venues around the United Kingdom. She is also an artist painting and drawing commissions.
After some years as a professional singer, and with a vast repertoire of songs and her special love of gospel, Luana brought Ella and Gugu together and launched the LifeStream acapella Gospel group. Together they launched the Heart and Soul Community Gospel Choir. Luana currently works providing child and respite care to disadvantaged children.
Ella Cherrie
Ellacherrie, aka Ella, flows spontaneously and prophetically in musical worship and praise. The impromptu musical dynamic that Ella brings helps characterise the original sound of the LifeStream Acapella Trio. Ella has an early background in classical training.
Returning from Japan, where she lived for three years teaching English, Ella gave her life uncompromisingly to Jesus. She now demonstrates her devotional life through helping to run a city home church and working in a hospital.
Ella's sensitivity and compassion, can be clearly heard in her singing. Street dance, busking and musical theatre showcase Ella's artistic passion.
The spirit of joy categorises her life in Christ which she ministers wherever she goes. A favourite Bible verse of Ella's is: 'where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom' (2 Corinthians 3:17). Ella is powerfully used by God to bring others into joyful freedom in Christ.
Guguana Felicity Robin
Born in the Kingdom of Swaziland (now Eswatini), Gugu grew up with a flair for a singing style more generally associated with groups like Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Gugu has infused a genuine South African flavour into the trio.
Working full-time as a nurse in a large city hospital, and juggling the role of mother to an amazing teenage daughter Gugu brings her unique expertise and professionalism to the Lifestream Music trio.
